• Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of mechanics and technicians. Assign jobs and monitor progress.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Conduct inspections and quality checks.
• Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries, provide estimates, and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Inventory Control: Manage parts inventory, place orders for necessary supplies, and ensure stock availability.
• Scheduling: Plan and allocate work schedules to maximize productivity and meet customer deadlines.
• Reporting: Maintain records of work orders, parts used, and hours worked. Report to senior management on performance.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop.
