Warranty Manager

The Warranty Manager is responsible for overseeing the warranty claims process and ensuring that warranty policies are effectively implemented and adhered to by the service and sales teams. This role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and protecting the company's interests while ensuring compliance with warranty regulations and guidelines.

The Warranty Manager is tasked with developing and managing warranty programs designed to offer support and compensation to customers who experience product issues. This role involves analyzing warranty claims data, collaborating with various departments, and engaging with both customers and vendors to resolve warranty-related issues. The Warranty Manager ensures that warranty standards are met and aims to minimize costs associated with warranty claims.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement warranty policies and procedures that align with company standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the warranty claims process from submission to resolution, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze warranty claims data to identify trends, and make recommendations for product improvements and potential cost reductions.
  • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to assess product failures and enhance warranty offerings.
  • Provide training to sales and service teams on warranty processes and policies to ensure compliance across the organization.
  • Communicate with customers regarding warranty claims, including denials, approvals, and product replacements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for warranty-related inquiries and escalations from customers and internal teams.
  • Manage the warranty budget, forecasting costs associated with warranty claims and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in warranty regulations, ensuring compliance in all warranty practices.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding warranty performance metrics, trends, and recommendations.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure product quality and reduce future warranty claims.
