Job Description
- Process warranty claims: Collect, review, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain records: Keep detailed records of all warranty-related activities, including claims submitted, approvals, and rejections.
- Coordinate with service teams: Work closely with service department personnel to ensure all warranty repairs are performed according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Customer communication: Address customer inquiries and concerns related to warranty coverage and claims status to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Analyze warranty claims: Identify and report patterns in warranty claims to assist in understanding recurring issues and to inform dealership management of potential improvements.
- Compliance and auditing: Ensure compliance with manufacturer processes and dealership policies; prepare for and facilitate regular audits related to warranty claims.
- Training and support: Provide training and support to service advisors and technicians on warranty policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge: Stay informed about changes in manufacturer warranty policies, industry standards, and repair procedures.
- Assist with inventory management: Collaborate with parts department to manage inventory related to warranty parts and returns.
- Reporting: Generate periodic reports on warranty claims status, trends, and financial impact for dealership management review.
