Job Description

• Identify and assess potential hazards in the workplace through regular inspections and evaluations.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
• Conduct safety training sessions and workshops to educate employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and documentation on safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a culture of safety within the organization.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to workplace safety.
• Assist in the design of safety equipment or systems, if applicable, and promote ergonomic practices.
• Evaluate safety programs' effectiveness and recommend improvements when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Safety Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.
