Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Manage and monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient management.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in medical records.
- Participate in hospital rounds and provide updates on patient status.
- Educate patients and families on healthcare issues, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide lifesaving interventions as required.
- Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and medical students.
- Participate in continuous medical education and stay updated on latest medical practices.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Contribute to research projects or quality improvement initiatives as needed.
