Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and measure ingredients such as malt, hops, yeast, and water for brewing.
- Operate and maintain brewing equipment including kettles, fermentation tanks, and filtration systems.
- Monitor the brewing process to ensure the desired temperature, pressure, and time are maintained.
- Conduct quality control tests on samples to ensure consistency and adherence to flavor profiles.
- Document processes, including production runs, recipes, and inventory levels for tracking purposes.
- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment and work areas to maintain sanitation standards.
- Develop new beer recipes and improve existing ones based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Collaborate with other team members, including marketing and sales, to promote and distribute products.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations and local health and safety guidelines.
- Participate in beer tastings, festivals, and promotional events to represent the brewery and engage with customers.
