Job Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other financial data to evaluate borrowers' creditworthiness.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide detailed reports on their findings to management or lending departments.
• Prepare credit proposals based on financial analysis and risk evaluation.
• Monitor existing credit accounts and conduct periodic reviews to reassess credit limits.
• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information for the credit evaluation process.
• Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting credit and lending practices.
• Collaborate with underwriting and loan officers to ensure the credit process aligns with lending policies.
• Utilize financial modeling and forecasting tools to predict future credit risks and opportunities.
• Provide recommendations for improving credit policies, procedures, and practices.
• Maintain accurate records of credit assessments, decisions, and communications for compliance and audit purposes.
